Comes on. In the book "Apocalypse Delayed" there is a reference on page 48 to Rutherford attending a burlesque show right before he attended the Memorial. Some of the info comes from a contemproary of Rutherford's who lived at Bethel and wrote a letter to Rutherford condemning his unChristian behavior in many matters.
Rutherford never actually denied the accusations but rather said that making such accusations was like accusing all of the WTS. No one really expects 'perfection' of their fellow humans, even of those in high station. Our past President, Bill Clinton certainly demonstrated that men in high station can and do give into acts that are not accepted by the public at large.
