Kinga was an amazing host and was super nice and very helpful. She helped us with everything we needed for our trip; booking taxi, renting out bikes for us to get around, giving directions and giving tips on where to eat and what to do in the area. The logde had everything you need! A small kitchen for cooking and a big fridge for stooring food. Hot water for taking a shower! The bed was a bit to small for me and my husband, who are two tall Swedes.
Our feet were sticking out. Not sure if it was the bed that was a bit to short for us or if the mosqito net was to small for the bed-frame so we couldn't use the full bed. But we slept good anyways : Beautiful view from the terass. The only negative thing is that you "share" the terass with the neighbour- lodge , which means that it is the same construction but its devided with a curtain.
If it would have been devided with a thicker curtain or wood it would have felt more privite it was white, so a bit see- trough. Overall this was not really a problem since we had nice and respectful neighbours that came and went except one that was a bit noisy.
The terass was great for relaxing and watching birds. It is close to the road so there are some traffic in the mornings and less later in the day, but not to much. The area is great, walking distance to a nice beach that is basically your own.
You have to eat at La Nana down the road, awesome food! Bike distance to Puerto Viejo, other nice villages, beaches and hiking trails.
